In Joyous Loving Memory

This blog is dedicated to fundraising efforts to benefit the Pemberton Family. On April 1, 2008 they lost Jenni, their wife and mother as well as the baby she was seven months pregnant with (Broden)due to a rare complication of pregnancy known as Amniotic Fluid Embolism.

More Hope for Amniotic Fluid Embolism Survivors and Their Families

I was recently contacted by a woman that survived Amniotic Fluid Embolism a week after Jenni passed away from one. It is extremely rare to survive and since her recovery, she has determined to do all she can to help others in her situation as well as the situation that the Pemberton family faced. She is working feverishly to begin a charitable foundation that helps raise awareness, raises funds for research and also provides support to the widowers and their children after they lose a woman to Amniotic Fluid Embolism.

Everything for the foundation is still in the beginning stages, but is progressing. I will post more information as soon as there is some. I think it is wonderful that there can be a network of support for families as well as doctors and researchers trying to figure out why this happens and if there is any form of earlier detection.
